.....was paddy crynes response on radio massive when asked how he felt tonight. thats just how I feel. My main worry however is that everyone seems so confident it's bordering on too confident and superior. It's almost like all we have to do is turn up and we win. Confidence is good. Over confidence sits next to cockiness and arrogance on my Richter scale of an approach to a football match. As fans it's great that we have the confidence in this fine bunch of hungry and committed players, but as players they should not for one minute start feasting on that confidence such that it morphs into an air of superiority. I have faith in our manager and the players. That faith turns to a hope that they have prepped up professionally and are ready. Millwall are a good team. The fact that we've beaten them twice means fick all. Less hype and more focus. Let's trust in Hecky that the focus is there. Oh and one other thing....if we lose then I do sincerely hope the perennial moaning fick wits who have been uber critical of this team in the past at least have the good grace to keep their gobs zipped. You mighty reds
Don't worry, we're a "nonentity of a club" according to some chump on the Millwall forum, so we should just be honoured to share the pitch with those galacticos and the mighty South London dynasty they represent. Why not just give them the win now? If Carlsberg did things you pin on football changing room doors, that would be one.
Everyone else is not over confident - honestly. Being terrified is over the top. Excited will do. And if we lose...... then nobody should complain given the pleasure we (eventually) have been given this season.
the players will not be complacent. absolutely 100% focused. if we don't win, it will be because millwall were the better team. but we've got absolutely nothing to fear on sunday. hecky has played it to perfection. treat it like another game and don't leave anything out there. if we lose, we lose. for me, it won't take a single thing away from the effort those lads have put in since november. even if we lose the game 5-0, they deserve an ovation off the pitch. enjoy the weekend, and don't start fighting with giddy cockneys x
Am confident we will win but not cocky . We have better players , better team spirit . One last push required Sunday
