Here it is REDS SLASH THE COST OF FOOTBALL AT OAKWELL Posted on: Tue 05 May 2009 BARNSLEY Football Club has slashed the cost of watching the Reds in Championship action at Oakwell during the 2009/2010 campaign. Official Website says £20 off Adult ST's, BUT..... I paid £290 last season in ESL and a ST this yr in the ESL is £290!!!! Great Saving! (wnkr)
Hope they send season ticket renewal packs to people that have had s/t in the past and not just current holders,Try and temp some people back......and that....... (Y)
I'll be getting a season ticket The prices are too good to miss. But I'd also like to see the club do 2 maybe 3 £5 games next season. They've been very successful these last few years. It'd be nice to do one earlier in the season, particularly if we're on a good run, then if we play good football and win the game more fans will be tempted back for more home games.
only if they compensate us ST holder for our loss during those 3 games only joking i agree but some won't, they feel they are bing punished
£11.74 per Championship game in Ponty - fantastic value. Cheaper than matchday price at Dewsbury for 3rd tier Rugby League.
Add to that retention of seat, plus guarantee of same for any Cup ties - great deal.
Well done BFC! (nodding2fingers)

RE: You sure abart that? Ponty was 290 and ESL was 300 but they knocked a tenner off (stronger together and all that) still got reciept!
RE: You sure abart that? I'd check your receipt then - you owe the club some money. http://www.barnsleyfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10309~1302955,00.html
RE: dewsbury do season tickets too you know nt Aye, I know - and I also happen to think that 12 quid is good value for what you get there. No disrespect intended at all towards the Rams.
I was just trying to put the value of the offer into some perspective.
