No idea. Definitely not at work, though. Honest.
Tonight there's going to be a jailbreak
    Somewhere in this town...

My money would firmly be on the jail.

    Seen them recently.. not class

went to the Sheff arena. They opened the show, followed by Styx, then the legendary Deep Purple. Have to say Styx were the pick of the bunch. Lizzy and Purple were disappointing really, or perhaps my expectation level was too high.

Well, they were good when I saw em

but then again some of em were still alive, and the rest of them were 25 years younger.

    It was 1979 though.

Seen em a few times but funniest was in Manc

    at some theatre type venue.

They did "I wish you a happy Christmas" in full Santa gear with the two dull ones out of the Sex Pistols.

Phil Lynott did not make a "reassuring" Father Christmas.

My kids would not be sat on his knee, if I had any that is.

    Live & Dangerous

probably the 2nd best live "heavy rock" album of all time.

UFO Strangers In The Night is the best.

I thought Strangers in the night was a fake

Played in the studio with crowd noises from a real concert.
Unleashed in the East for me, Victim of changes on the free 7".

RE: I thought Strangers in the night was a fake

"Beyond The Realms Of Death" on the free 7" for me - why didn't they include that on the LP?!

Probably to save costs. Wasn't it a jap import originally?

    Hmm interesting

    never heard that before.

To be honest, it did sound like the crowd were going mental, and UFO only had me and a few pals as fans so it could be true.

Mick Schenkers guitar solo in "Only You Can Rock Me" was proper though.

Is that the one with Doctor Doctor on, if so

I have to say that is an excellent track. Not really a UFO fan, but Live version of Doctor Doctor is absolutely fantastic.

I hope its real. The crowd noise sounds a bit like "canned laughter" if you crank it up.

Oh, and I used to have a tape of MSG live in Sheffield taped off the radio when Graham Bonnet was pissed and ended up being sacked that night for his behaviour. but I lost it. Bugger.

    Yes it is

Cracking album whether the live part is fake or not.

Although I think "Doctor, Doctor" is also on the MSG live album.
