    That Sheffield gig

    Was that just before the Reading festival then?

    Went to Reading when MSG were on and we were ready to get a chant of "one Gary Bardon" going, the rest of the band came on and then one of them said "please welcome Gary Bardon" - the place went mental.

    RE: Seen them recently.. not class

    Must have been at a different concert to me then,Purple were brilliant,Steve Morse was awesome.Styx were 'different',wheeling Chuck out half way through the set ,I don't think he quite knew where he was.Thin Lizzy were alright but they need a 'name' front man to get over the Phil Lynott factor because they sounded a bit like a tribute band
