could do with explaining the reasons behind the choice of dates for the matches and the reasoning behind the ticket situation and why the box office is shut on the Monday.
An explanation on the site or Radio Dee dah might be an idea.
Im sure Gordon wouldnt have made it as awkward as it is on purpose. Again i reckon authorities ie police, tv, fl are much more to blame

Maybe they are waiting for Tickets from Huddersfield

That way, people will be able to putchase tickets for BOTH legs without queing up twice.

Additionally, isn't three days enough time to sell the tickets? With the turnstile facility for Non-STH I would have thought it was ample time.

I wouldn't mind betting that you can get a ticket much quicker than if you are a STH. The queue for STH will be horrendous.

Why the big problem with not being open on Monday? They are open until 7pm on all the other nights and I would imagein they will stay open whilstever opunters a queuing up.

I am curious as to why the dates are so strange

We should have had 1 thursday and 1 sunday

and one friday and one Monday

Either of those scenarios gives long distance fans half a chance of getting to one of the games with a Friday night or Sunday aft game

I recon we should have played Friday if the 2nd leg is Monday. I would have a large guess that the reason is South Yorkshire police refused Barnsley v hudds on a Friday night - but wouldnt mind knowing for sure.

    I read somewhere yesterday

that the Police in Swansea had said that as the Cup Final was Saturday they couldn't cope with Friday night as well, so South Yorkshire Police were asked to change the Barnsley V Huddersfield match to Friday and they refused.

Don't think the dates are owt to do with the club.

The ridiculous policy for selling tickets is though.

2nd leg is on Monday as Huddersfield Eggchasers are at home Sunday, suspect that SY police vetoed the Friday night for 1st leg.
