This afternoon's performance

Absolutely nailbiting for 90 mins. The lads seemed more nervous than recently and took a while to get into their stride. But every man played out of his skin, and for each other, not least Nardy who was everywhere - even defending successfully on the line. It's the first timeI have ever seen the Reds benefit from a retaken penalty decision (that we took). Hopefully nearly there now. There was a thought we might want WBA to do us a last day favour. The way things are going they might hopefully want one from us.</p>

Nardiello - tremendous - we need him, don't care whatcha say, the lad is excellent, he must stay.</p>

 

Started out absolutely sh*te after the break.</p>

Thank fook we picked up later on otherwise we'd have been cannon fodder.</p>
