So, the plane lost power about 10 seconds before it landed. As it was already coming down to land, why is the pilot a hero?? Surely he could not possibly have done anything, it just crashed!
Because of the way he crashed it in a controlled manner apparently! It took such skill to think to yourself, "oh ****" as the plane hit the deck, give him a medal!
RE: "a medal as big as a frying pan" nt of course the worth of a medal is judged by how big it is - that Victoria Cross...bloody rubbish!
Nope Radio1 was running a clip of one of the passengers. He definitely says that the pilot deserves a medal as big as a frying pan. Dustbin lid must be too big. You have to trust the opinion of somebody who was on the plane.
did anyone see that cabbie on the news he thought he could touch the plane...... so by london blackcab story standards the driver was probably in oxford
Sounds like software glitch to me Not time to hit reboot though with 10 seconds to go Both engines wouldnt increase power hmmmm Good old fly by wire eh
RE: Sounds like software glitch to me Jesus christ. The guy has just landed a plane with no power and saved got knows how many lifes. Give him some credit!
