Sounds like a numptie who's made his mind up on first impressions and steadfastly refuse to admit they were wrong. Reminds me of a bloke who used to stand near us on the Ponty who used to give Glavin, stick game in game out...Some folk are just dim.

So who didn't do their job yesterday? Flicker has Mellon and Scott to consult, the video of the match to watch in detail, the opta stats on performance. Not saying that its not right for us to have an opinion, but it is formed on an incomplete picture

Exactly. An idea, not the whole picture. Who knows what Flicker tells them to do. No one on here does the in depth planning and strategy that the management team do, compiling scouting reports on the opposition, working on tactics and each players role within the team. We turn up, watch 11 against 11 then come on here and critisize the player's decision making and Flicker's tactics. Do we actually have much of an idea? Not really.

I'm not saying we shouldn't critisize the team, Flicker or the performance, but when people start stating their opinions as fact and without reasoned argument or just using their selective memory, it does get rather tiresome.

    Or the whole internet? :)

Again, I don't mind criticism if its tempered or considered. Saying, as some have, that Dawson offers nothing, isn't either of those

Indeed its not the whole picture, most of the opinions in life we all hold are not based upon the whole picture yet away from football im sure we all comment on things based on our knowledge. None of the opinions on here will be based upon complete facts after a match as most of it is letting off steam. However there is definitly valid criticism and certainly welcome opinions.

Still think Daggers needs to score more. Fact.

' Still think Daggers needs to score more.'

True, but it doesn't mean he's ***** or offers nothing to the team (not saying you are saying that)
