How was John wrong? what was out of context?</p>

<font color="#ff0000">John:  </font><font color="#000000">(According to Mr Shepherd ) Fans putting £100(each) into the club would be, in his own words, &quot;a complete waste of time&quot; </font></p>

For us thick numpties how was john out of context? What i do see is a chairman getting very defensive again and someone turning down investment from the fans.</p>

Like i have said before gordon, you should be trying to raise ANY investment and any amount of money helps. Like tesco say, 'every little helps'</p>

It seems a fairly normal statement to me. A few thousand pounds would make barely any difference to the club whereas and injection of serious funds could completely transform the club to help us achieve what we all want. That is promotion to the next division.

I personally think that in the same situation I would have offered a similar response.
