Overall a poor performance, but another 3 points at home. Last year a game like that we would have lost and I think it shows how far we have come. Any club looking atour Home form this season must realise that Oakwell isn't a easy place to come to get a result.</p> Blackpool looked very sharp, but that was expected following a longer break between games.No' 11 for 'Pool impressed me, and to be fair could walk into the majority of teams into this league. They will look at this game and wonder how they lost 2-1</p> Few praises. Kozluk had his best game since coming to the club, Souza won 95% of headers played near him and turned the attacker a few times. Togwell chased back well and put quite a few tackles in that broke up play. Macken held it up well and looked to distribute.</p> Grumbles. Not impressed with either wingerlast night, and not for the first time this season. We have shown in the last two games that get a good ball into the box (Howard) and we have Ferenczi who will attack the ball. Frustrating for the last 15 minutes or so when it looked like the players were playing with a 'Red' hot ball. Soon as they got it, they put it 25ft in the air.</p> Crowd no higher than I predicted before the game. With two home games in quick succesion AND Bonfire night, feel the club should have done a offer on One of the games to try and pull some more fans in. SD commented in the programme notes that we should be touching 17000 with our position, but that is never going to happen.</p> Did anyone see Howard's reaction at the end of the game? He came to applaud the Ponty end, and tried to get the crowd going on three occasions. When realised wasn't getting anywhere, stood shacking his head and look gutted with it.</p> So 23 points now from 15 games. Performances below par (or from what we started the season) for the last 4 games but still picking up points. Do we have the right to grumble!!?? Of course, we are fans!</p>
