Agree, sadly his career has been blighted with injury thus far. It’s not worked out, time to cut our losses in January

I’m starting to think he’s not up to it. Trust the club to make the right decision regarding his future with us. Could be that the club isn’t a good fit for the player, homesick etc but it’s definitely not clicked for him here
Have to agree sadly. Early last season he looked a player but then a series of injuries knocked him back again. Think he’s in his last year, I’d be looking to move him on in January.
It was only in jest mate. Just found it funny. I think he had some decent touches and a couple of decent passes yesterday, problem is he had about 4 touches of the ball. Doesn't seem to be able to create space for himself. I'd keep him usually, but the amount of injuries he's having is extremely concerning
Josh Benson as flattered to deceive, and as not lived up to expectations, I thought we paid similar to what we paid for Kane. That means walk free at the end of their contracts with not a lot to show for the money invested.
Just hasn’t worked out for him. Different managers, injuries, COVID, confidence, different roles and his ability is in question. Would deffo benefit from a move somewhere.
Shame....he was on fire last season, first 10 games, then injured....after that just hasn't done himself justice. He has some good tools in his box but unfortunately we (or I do), want him to kick on but he either can't catch a break or his play is on and off. Either way he has just not lived up to his promise.
He has been a big waste of time since day one. Different head coaches and different leagues, but never looked like repaying his wages or transfer fee with his performances.
He looked brilliant in that purple patch month he had last season, then low and behold he got injured again. Just stunts all progression
Amazing that people criticise Phillips contributions but compared to Benson. One cost us nowt and delivered far more.
He's got good quality on the ball and can pick a pass and shoot but I thought the game passed him by yesterday and he looked knackered after 50mins, needs to improve massively for me.
