It would certainly seem that way as of what we’ve seen from various reports. Williams is a weird one. I’m hoping the Forest Green player is an attempt at the “layering” that we do when we prepare for Williams to leave either in January or next summer. But you could well be right. I guess we’ll see in the next few weeks. I think our wing backs are possibly the most important players in this system so I really hope we go into the season with Cadden and Williams.
Why did we arrange a friendly with blackburns u21s? The 1st team played Fleetwood last night. Going to be a long season wouldn't be suprised with a defeat v port Vale in 2 weeks time.
Why am I smug about it? Just want us to have a good pre season and give us the best chance to hit the ground running next season. More disappointed than out that it looks like we have failed to prepare. Even the players are telling press we need recruits doesn't look good.

Over a period of 63 years supporting Tarn I've learned never to prejudge a season based on our preseason "results". I've seen great seasons after awful preseasons, and I've seen awful seasons after great preseasons. Preseasons are for the coaches and the players. They tell the fans nothing.

Was hardly a tap in. Tidy finish to be fair as were his two at MK. Never really got a run of starting games last season and he’s probably as good as we can afford. I’m more concerned about the back line right now though if I’m honest.
We’re nearer 5 weeks behind than where we might be. First 2 weeks being playoffs. Duff dragging his feet, recruiting a new coach & waiting for him to get up to speed. & another half hour waiting for Mads to stop rooring.. It’s hardly ideal, but there are unusual circumstances. It’s just what we’ve been dealt, starting with having a good season, last time out & losing to Wednesday in 123rd minute. It’s gonna be another slow start. No point in moaning about it, it’s just how it is..
Don't think duff rated him, for me his workmate was abit poor at times. But I hope given a run he can do well in this league.
Mixed feelings about the season. If we sign watters We still have. Watters Kane Connell Williams for now Kitchin Cole Norwood Cadden All for this level. I don't see anywhere past the top 6 but it's the back line I have doubts for. Then again as others say above. We've had good pre seasons and been relegated.
