The Telegraph just didn't pick his name out of thin air...he had to have "previous"...How many signings over the last 18 months or so may be tainted?
Given we have a recruitment department identifying the players, for the head coach to sign off on, with the CEo doing the deals, Id say non. Im sure he was involved at looking at players identified etc but I didn't think the business side of things was in the coaches remit anymore.
I agree, the Telegraph haven't just picked people at random for their sting. They have targeted people after doing their homework.
