Caught a bit of it tonight ... the 3 presenters - everything I don't like in a man is embodied there. (puke)
TBH it's getting a bit tired Still worth watching and still every bloke's dream job but it's getting a bit samey.
Seriously Blokes getting over-excited - not even about the cars, but about how good they look because they like one particular car & not another .... just so cliched. Boys & toys at its worst. They even managed to make idiots of themselves in the one bit that made me smile slightly.
Preferred it when they used to review new cars - at least it was informative, now it's just boys and their toys. And I wish someone would just punch Clarkson!
The only good thing on TV The episode a few weeks back where they were pretending to be 17 and buying there first car was soo funny, i cried for hours.
Quality for me. Only Top Gear and The Street that is owt like worth watching on tv at the minute. Nevermind, new season friday and wall to wall foòtball. Brilliant!
I'm sure they do Some women fall for footballers no matter how shallow they are; some women go for money; some women even find Jeremy Clarkeson attractive. Guess there's no accounting for taste! Worryingly my eldest daughter was glued to it last night. (shakrhead)
It's only worth watching... ...for the challenges. The race between the Bugatti & the Plane along with the 24 hour race in the BMW were cracking. It'd probably be better if they tested cars that are affordable for more of the population, not just those that footballers can buy.
Top Gear is for little boys that like toys And everymans favorite job...........yer must be fffing jokeing !!! What? looking at cars and pointing............now int that a great job............... (N) Men that are interested in cars are so boring (zzz) (zzz) (zzz)
It's a guilty pleasure for so many We know it's childish We know it's contrived beyond belief We know the car "reviews" aren't relevant to normal folk and are just excuses for tyre smoking montages but it is entertaining, is presented by likeable characters, is excellently produced, does command a decent production budget and is loved across the world.
I've got a car I use my car for travelling from to a to b. That's about my interest in cars. But I don't have a problem with people who do like cars. However, Clarkson implying you are not a real man if you don't like cars reveals more about the size of his manhood than it does mine. OK I realise its supposed to be entertainment, but I would rather watch paint dry.
'some women' Most women. Women are by far the shallower sex. I think most people enjoy top gear because of its humour as opposed to the fact that it features big shiney fast cars so its not really boys and their toys. Women that are glued to reality tv programs and watching models walking up and down catwalks however are as shallow as can be and I know which i'd prefer to be classed as. Shallow or someone who enjoys humour? No contest
RE: I've got a car My sentiments exactly, Get down to the real world away from the Ferraris and Aston Martins and Porsches and they might make sense.
It's a right laugh That time when they played "conkers", using 2 caravans suspended from massive cranes. Absolutely side splitting stuff
