Just another import with the heart of a pea and no work permit then. Look on the bright side, it's still a better window than last summer......
Hopefully, a heart of a pea will become apparent during the medical. Sounds quite a serious condition.
"At the end of July 2019, while trying to force the management to leave the club, Bassi was sidelined from the professional group and forced to train with the reserve team. Despite his talent, he will not participate in any of the first games of the team, the ASNL having decided to sanction him for lack of discipline. So much so that when the starting midfielder, Vincent Marchetti was seriously injured on the 3rd day of the championship, the club preferred to recruit another midfielder - Grégoire Lefebvre - rather than recall Bassi in the professional squad." (From a French newspaper article).
Just the job for us. Maybe he'll keep Obbi company whiling away the long days. We just never learn......
Given that this was at ASNL, whom they now own, you'd imagine that they'd have considered this in their decision-making process to sign him. It's a concern, but not something I'd use to write him off before he pulls on a BFC shirt. Time will tell though, and it's not something that reads as a 'glowing reference' for an incoming player into a fundamentally dysfunctional club.
It really is! Pulseless electrical activity (PEA) refers to cardiac arrest in which the electrocardiogram shows a heart rhythm that should produce a pulse, but does not.
Keiffer Moore set to sign for Boufrom Cardiff for £5million. Did we retain an interest on his future?
Agreed and on it's own it's not earth-shattering (although he is now about to leave the very club he'd campaigned to join after just six months) but taken with a number of our other signings in recent times would seem to signify the failed over-reliance on the numerical data from tables and an alarming ignorance of 'softer' and behavioural/attitudinal type characteristics that so often can be the difference between a good and a flawed player.
But we sold him to Wigan not Cardiff. So even if by some imaginative clause we'd only get a share of a share. Hardly likely to amount to much I would have thought, even if we did.
Kieffer is now just behind Elon Musk in the rich list once his signing-on fees are aggregated together.
Our head coach been here a while, now and we still haven't signed anybody. We are letting plenty go but then crying we haven't enough players for a team. Makes our owners look illiterate as well as tight fisted B-------
Along with Calvin Plummer, a double transfer. Agree though Paul is up there as one of our best signings. A very cultured and majestic centre back. I can't remember him making many mistakes during his time with us.
I remember one, he lobbed Clive Baker from about 40 yards, the best own goal I've ever seen.... They made their debuts against Derby (who we signed them from), which we won 5-1 with Plummer getting one.
Off topic but not. Newcastle have signed a few today, aswell as the Brazil international yesterday. Some very good signings going off up there.
