    Are reporting that according to sources in South Yorkshire Barnsley are in advanced talks with a Japanese under 23 international.Don't shoot the messenger.If the transfer came off he would surely be the first far eastern player to play for the club,wouldn't he?

    in the old 4th Division days before Ernest Dennis came on board we had two Chinese players at Oakwell.

    What do you class as the far east.

    Ryan Williams is from further East than Japan. As are some of the scouse and Manc lads if you travel that way round to get there.
