Here's me worrying we might not sign a striker in this transfer window.

I'm now worried that we can hold onto 3-4 of our stars in this window. Holding onto players is perhaps our biggest action this window. After last nights showcase I wouldn't be surprised if quite a few will be targeted.

Thing is fella, with the Holgate money in the bank we have no need to sell.

Our business model requires we sell one or more player per season with an income of ~£1m. We've done this already and know we've got more to come from the Stones sell-on. Unless we're offered silly money (i.e. way above their market value) we will not lose more players.

I think Hourihane is the one who will be targeted but if 1mill plus was offered we would be mad to turn it down

We can afford to put our foot down and say for example £3 million or we're not selling. Even though our players aren't worth that, we can afford to ask for silly money

Kevin Nolan released by West Ham today. Would we have him?

I thought that Jose Mourinho had offered forty million for Marc Roberts after last night.

His best game for a while. But if I was a Manager watching that match, my interest would be Scowen.
