Transfers - scoolboy error!

    A few weeks ago, when we were told that we were looking to make another 7 or 8 transfers before the beginning of the season I foolishly presumed they meant transferring another 7 or 8 players in to the club!

    Very naive...it clearly meant get rid of 6/8 players.

    on a happier note have you heard of Terry and the Dead. local band pretty excellent.

    We can start worrying when they flog the team coach and buy a minibus. Or if they start selling season tickets for seats on the bench that they won't need to use.

    I just wonder if any of the old team are looking towards the last 20 minutes of Bobby's testimonial as a chance to win a contract. I saw Brucie a couple of weeks ago and he's lost some weight. A couple of goals on Saturday and we could end up with a Winnall-Dyer dream partnership! Or maybe even Winnall-Shipperley, if Ships can ship 15 stone.

    My mate at Blueline taxis has told me that BFC have a booking for all away games next season. It sounds like Albert who has an Insignia is booked in for the jobs so we can rest assured it's a decent sixed car.
