    After a whole pre season and transfer window, our best striker is still Devante Cole. What an absolute joke we've become.

    The vast majority of transfers seem to be done on deadline day, and there's 13 hours left. I can almost guarantee we'll have at least 1 more striker by this time tomorrow.

    You say that, but I've just read that Millwall are 'taking a look' at Callum Styles. Then reading the article, it reads as though it's one they're mulling over before deciding whether to make a move. They've had all summer to 'take a look' at him.

    To only bring one in would be a proper two fingers up to Duff and if that’s the case then he should jump ship and look for a club that matches is ambition he’s been asking for more fire power all summer.

    He'll go same way Hecky did. It'll start with downbeat interviews. Then before Christmas there will be murmurings of unrest and he'll go to a Championship club that sacks their manager.

    I appreciate the need to reduce the wage bill, however it seems as though the club is busting its balls to get players out of the door to reduce the wage bill. But not seemingly trying as hard to get players in to freshen up the squad. It's the Barnsley way. Looks like another underwhelming transfer deadline day. I'm hoping to be proved wrong by 11pm tonight.
