Might be clutching at straws like, but...

Before today: Not won away for ages. Recent poor form. No fight or spirit. Struggling to score. Poor defensively.

Today: Sounds like we controlled the first half. Came under a lot of pressure in the second half, but still kept clean sheet. Scored 2 good goals.

Massive match against qpr now. Hope we can build on today and put in another good perfomance, and hopefully get the fans back on side.

    key point there

is the massive match against QPR

a win at home would lift us out of the relegation zone and I hope that would really put some fight into the team and some belief into the supporters. We've got to start winning a large percentage of home games to stay up anyway because regardless of today's result are general away form has been **** poor. Absolutely crucial a week on Tuesday and it's just a bit of a shame we've got the week off because after a performance like that it would probably be better if the team played again quickly with a win fresh in their minds, although I suppose the rest will do them good.
