Perhaps a misleading title, but the difference in treatment is crystal clear to anybody who's been following other protests over the past couple of years.
He’s not a Buffoon. Far more dangerous. But anyone who calls him out at this stage of proceedings is seriously deluded. That should have been done a long time ago - based simply on the evidence before your eyes. I’m a bleeding hearts liberal generally but you really can’t allow his actions to go unpunished. He, and his associates, need to face due process under the law. I’m no fan of the USA but what’s at stake here is huge, and not just for the USA.
what they should now do is get straight back into the capitol. tonight. ditch the speeches and certify one after the other. then impeach the fascist maniac and physically remove him from the White House tomorrow. needs a huge statement of unity across both parties now.

Go on then. Enlighten us. Because I can tell you what’s going to happen. The house and senate will reconvene either back in the building when it’s safe or from elsewhere. They will continue counting the votes that were taken with them out of the building. There might be some more objections but everyone knows they won’t do anything. Biden will be officially elected. Simple as that.
