I like the look of Andy Murray. Once the lad works on his physical strength, he has the potential and ability to win a Grand Slam. He seems focuseed enough. he's done well in USA the last couple of months. Disappointed that he's not been given a wildcard for the US Open with wildcards handed out to americans that Murray has already beaten but then again, if it was Wimbledon, the wildcards woyuld go to young brits
we have to make sure we dont get carried away, he hasnt won anything yet, ok a junior event but he won a few games at wimbledon and loads are saying he is gonna be a superstar, lets not get ahead of ourselves. the kid has obvious talent but i hope the weight of the publics expectations dont stop him becoming a great player, after all we dont want another tim henman, we want a new andy murray.
Good points, we mustn't over hyped the guy. He plays with a passion and desire that we don't see often in Henman. He has started to break through a couple of years younger than when Henman first came on the scene Shame he's Scotish..Seriously, if he becomes the darling of the media, he'll be British, if he doesn't fulfill his potential, he'll be 'Scotland's Andy Murray'
"Disappointed that he's not been given a wildcard for the US Open with wildcards handed out to americans that Murray has already beaten but then again, if it was Wimbledon, the wildcards woyuld go to young brits" So why disappointed? - surely thats the point of wildcards - at Wimbledon we give them to Brits so at Flushing Meadows you'd expect them to go to Americans
