Anyone know any decent pubs near the ground for pre-match food and pints?

    The supporters bar is decent.

    There's only two from memory.

One over road from the Morrisons and further around there's the Fulwood. Guaranteed a kick in.

Then if they let you in the social club. Couple of quid on door.

Yes the supporters bar/club right next to the ground is very good; they even lay on food

If you're going by train you'll be changing in Birmingham, so I'd recommend there - supporters club sounds good though!
