Can he possibly become Englands leading goalscorer? He definately has age and time on his side and barring any serious injuries i cannot see why not. I don't have the stats at hand but believe he has 28 international goals to his name. There are some fine strikers ahead of him such as Shearer Owen Lineker and top of the lot Bobby Charlton on 49. So what do you think? Hope he fills his boots tonight by the way and adds to his total.
He can start by filling his boots tonight as you say. Looks like he's started this season as he means to go on. He has put last year firmly behind him and yes i think he could be vying for top England scorer of all time
Injury free yes, and the FA will make sure there are plenty of pointless friendlies as well as Tournament games because Wembley needs paying for.
