Brilliant result for them again. People can look at them scoring their only shot of the match and their low possession percentage but the only thing that matters is making sure you don't lose by any means necessary. They parked the bus perfectly for the point they needed to stay up. And after last night it looks like we don't have to put up with a Welsh derby in our English top flight, so it's all good.
Swansea can match Southampton on 36 points if they win their last game and Saints lose. But they've got a 12 goal deficit on Saints so to all intents the Swans are down. Inevitable Mawson will move now , so we will probably get our sell on fee. Will McBurnie stay with them.? Or can we prize him away.? We'll have to see.
Really happy for Huddersfield. They’ve done a good job this season, but were flagging these last few months. If they strengthen the squad and can keep the same mentality, I expect they might stay up next year too.

Happy days. I used to live in Hudds for a few years. I like to see them do well - so long as not at our expense! Whilst they’ve spent some money, they never went bonkers with it on transfer fees. Be interesting to see if they add an extra tier to one of the stands this summer. I know they were looking into it last summer, but said only if they stayed up might they take it further.
Well done the Terriers. Shows what a team can do with a manager that knows what he’s doing and who can set a team up in the right way. Was envious when they went up last season because they were a team not that far away from us in more ways than just distance. Even more so now we’re light years away.
True. They never really battered teams when they were promoted - they were consistent and usually won by the odd goal. I am right thinking they were the first team to get promoted on a minus goal difference in the end? They they conceded quite a few in their final games.
THAT is how you fight for a result - never mind talking about believing - you have to walk the walk. Take note BFC!!!
And they really have spent sod all - I don't think their promotion side cost more than the side we've had this season.
To be fair, they were already in front of us before they got into the prem. Dean Hoyle was very ambitious and invested a lot of money into getting them going. Success on the field and cheap season tickets filled the ground last season, and they were one of the best teams I saw us play. Cryne didn't have the money that Hoyle has, but the new guys have. I hope they're taking note of tonight's proceedings and what can be achieved by a town club with bigger neighbours.
