what would be more feasible? go balls out and build a 9,000 seater east stand replica or build a modest 1 tier effort which could be extended in the future. I like the idea of having a symmetrical ground like Moleneux but would look pathetic with our lowly attendances. also sometimes wish the Ponty end was same size as north stand
How about putting any new fans in the North Stand - seeing as it cost about 5m and we only lavish our away supporters in it???
even more controversial............... give the smaller Ponty End to visiting fans? we could then run out of the tunnel between our own fans-or is the tradition too strong?
as long as it has changing rooms in it much better for the players to come out on the halfway line rather than from under the away fans stand - the Barnsley team get to hear the away team fans cheering first at the moment.
i think that, better to have 6000 behind the goal chanting, then 4,000. But its the car park side, and where the shop and box office is so i doubt it'll happen
it's also the weather... seems to whip over the ponte straight into the faces of the North stand and also when the sun is low you can't see a thing if you're near the front.
Nah Not too bothered bout the sound of that. Couldnt the ponty end be extended if needed in the future? I never understood why they didnt build it that bit bigger given the amount of space they had in the car park.
the wooden seats are far better...I dont know what you lot joke about!!! Its a lot more comfortable up there than in the east!
Were not disin the wooden seats, sat up there for norwich game, was comfy, just a bit annoying when you have to watch the game through a steel post
RE: even more controversial............... We could extend the Ponte to be the same size as the North stand without too much expense.
the new plastic seats are horrible....steat in front stick into your legs. Wooden seats far superior!!! Give the west a little restoration and save the cash!!!
