hopefully the world will be a better place and no 1 will like leeds anymore, and also parents will raise their children properly and not let them support man u, chelsea, arsenal ect

Seeing more and more kids wearing tarn shirts in streets, at footy training. hopefully the younger generation are seeing that unlke the olden days in the 70s there was only match of the day, football monthly. Barnsley are getting a lot more Tv coverage and kids can now associate more to clubs like ours, may we reap the benefits and get back to the days of 20, 000 in oakwell each week.

Parts of West Yorkshire have always been red. Crofton in Wakefield for one. I've taken some of the stronger together posters over for the schools aswell

I live in ackworth, i know a few more people who support Barnsley there. But up the road, there is a sheff wed fan, & across the road a barnsley fan :)

I went to school in crofton, & there was a few barnsley fans there, infact, an academy player goes there. But the majority was either Leeds Or Man U (glory supporters).

you've probably guessed I live in hudds and my son goes to school in scisset. Two years ago it was a bit dodgy for him as hudds beat us in play off leg, and he was one of two tarn fans in his school. but more recently especially since fa cup run, he wears his barnsley hoodie to school with more pride and we have recruited some leeds/hudds defectors, including adults. they will defect back, chickens and grass and fence an all, but we'll take their money for now thanks

    Barnsley should be aiming to

draw support from the Wakey/Pontey area. We should aim more advertising at them in particular.

WE WILL JUST HAVE TO PUT UP WITH THEIR DODGY NON BARNSLEY ACCENTS

Unfortunately kids are the biggest glory supporter. Every day I walk through Oakwell area and see more kids wearing Manu, Chelsea and Arsenal shirts than I do Barnsley shirts, even though the ground is about 100 yards away.
