I dont blame Ritchie for giving the players who got us promoted a chance, but it was apparent after 6 games we needed to strengthen, which he didnt...... Shepherd sacked him alledgedly for not signing players after Shepherd said he could choose his own contract 2 or 3 years... Shepherd allowing Macindoe to leave for buttons due to a clause in his contract.... Daveys appontment was the final nail, cheapest option of a board that wouldnt pay Blackwell or Dowie... The rest is history....goodbye Championship...hello League 1
