Now reduce season tickets and match day prices now where in a lower league, seems a bit wrong asking people to pay the same price as we would in the championship, lower standard of football/players and all that.

Not sure tom I was just curious as I can't understand how they can justify same prices in a lower league

Reduce them if you want to see league 2.

We are relegated cos we can't compete financially. Our budget next season should be one of the higher ones now.

Reduce it and we won't compete in league 1

did you try thinking that through before you posted it

not trying to be a smart ass... but the prices had already gone out and ST's have already been bought. Also if you take a bit of time to go on the websites of the other L1 clubs you will see that we will be far from the most expensive next season.

We still have players on contract next season who are on Championship wages, and if we are to get a squad together to get out of League One, we need the money coming in.

We can only spend 60% of our income on wages.

Am not being a smart arse either but I don't give a **** what other clubs are charging I don't go to watch them. Just for the record I've already bought mine along with maybe 4/5000 others.

We've not been able to compete financially for the last 7/8 years didn't get relegated then did we. Reducing the amount of supporters coming through the gate who aren't going to pay 23 quid to watch league one football is hardly going to help the situation is it.

And while we're all sat here not being smart arses. Unlike you drag I don't have time to look on other clubs websites, I spend my time travelling up and down the country watching a team I've supported for over thirty years. How about you have you got your season ticket yet. I'm sat on a bus of 55 people with half of them debating the exact thing I posted.

    Fine.

The money we did have was *****ed on **** players.

Still 2nd or 3rd lowest budget or summat.

And then you want to reduce that budget further...

    Makes sense

    Sorry nez

Can't remember ever saying I personally wanted to reduce the budget.

Mansford distinctly said the budget is the same next season as it was this.

All this has been said well before anybody knows how many season tickets are to be sold before start of the season.

Read into this what you want, but that tells me the budget has been set regardless of season ticket sales and pay on the gate

So we can increase a budget or keep the same if we drop our already low St prices.

Ive just got 4 for 600 quid. That's FOUR.

Whilst I applaud the club for trying it doesn't take a scientist to work out that low prices leads to low budgets and **** teams. Especially with the size of our crowds.

If we charged a fiver the same 10k will turn up.
