A friend of mine purchased this ADSL Router:

    http://www.billion.uk.com/product/wireless/bipac5102g.htm

and a Wirless G PCI Card for their old PC, with the interntion of sharing their internet connection and files/printer via a wired and wireless network

However, on their new PC, certain pages fail to load when teh ADSL Router is being used, but load fine when they put their Wanadoo USB Modem back in.Also, teh wirelsss connection is hard to get connected.

Has anyone got any ideas what might be causing the issue? Someone has suggested that Wanadoo can block third party routers, but I'm not sure this is true.

Thanks in advance and COME ON YOU REDS!!

Don't think it is router blocking

I set up a workmate's network on Wanadoo and it works fine.
That was a Linksys router, not the box they supply.

I used this to set modem/router settings manually

Do you have a network cable so you can connect wired to the router? Get that working before attempting wireless.

    Thanks..

    I'll look at that.

I should add that the PC that they are having problems with is using a wired connection to the router, and this is the PC that loads pages with the USB Modem and not with the Billion unit.

Oh and is PPPoverATM also known as PPPOA?
