    After one or two ropey predictions this week, here are Orsen's 'osses for today:

    GARSWOOD Haydock 2.40 [7/2]
    RYE HOUSE Newmarket 3.35 [3/1]
    LIGHTNING MOON Haydock 4.25 [6/4]

    I like their chances in singles, but a £5 Trixie (total stake £20) would return over £421 for all three being successful.

    More speculatively, I like trying to work out two year old races involving debutants, and at Newmarket I like PEACOCK/DARK PROFIT [1.55] and HEARTBREAK HERO [2.25]. The latter is being smashed in price, but you can still get 5/1 in places.

    Had Sultanina (what a finish), Garswood and Eton Rifles in a Haydock ew treble. Had Commander Patten and Sirius Prospect place in other bets so far.

    Taurus Twins in the 2.50 at York.
