I hope by some miracle we can stay up. but as soon as we appointed Davey as the "cheap inexperienced option" it was inevitable that we would struggle badly and any one who thought dfferently are fooling themselves especialy GS and PC, it is foolish to hope that othe teams will do us a favour when ultimatly our team are not good enough and and davey is tactically naive
Barnsley, Luton & QPR will be the 3 relegated

    RE: why! nt

Because with no money we can't get any better.

Others can and will, notably the teams coming down from the Prem with their pockets stuffed full of cash.

This league is gonna get harder year on year - season after next the BOTTOM club in the Prem comes down with £30 MILLION ffs!

I went to all 3 matches against fookin Rhyl in 1968 mate - been a Tyke for 45 years, so I've seen it all and I'll never give up on em. (nodding2fingers)

I'll support em whatever league they're in, but I'm just being realistic and saying it's gonna get harder and harder to sustain us at this level.

    No doubt

we will have better finances next season especially if we stay up and probably if we go down.

Competing with the big boys won't get easier but there are lots of clubs in the same boat.

We managed alright before on crowds of 7,000.

I think we ARE going down, but there's no reason why we can't, at some point in the future, have a sustainable club at this level.

    RE: BBC Predictor

I have done this every different which way and we have always stayed up. The teams which go down are Leeds, QPR and Luton, all of whom have runs-in as difficult, if not more difficult, than ours. Our crucial games are home to the likes of Crystal Palace and Leicester. I have presumed we will win them and, with a couple of draws, we will stay up. If we lose these, it will be hard. Check out the runs-in of Leeds, QPR and Luton. Tough games most way through. In my predictor version, we dip into the relegation places over the next couple of weeks and then we get clear again. If we can get any sort of result at Plymouth and Coventry, I think we will be even better placed for the run-in. I fear a combination of Scott Sinclair and Rory Fallon at Home Park, along with Kevin Gallen in a deeper role to make way for Fallon. Coventry are unbeaten in five under Iain Dowie and another good win tonight. Both are bogey teams for us. It would be nice to break the mould, but we will need to defend superbly and take the odd chance on the break. Here's hoping.
