One disappointing aspect of this world cup was the Australian girls goal celebrations. All held their arm out clutching invisible phones smiling and taking pretend selfies.
    All very girlie. Lol.

It ain't sexist whatsoever, I am far from sexist, I just find the woman's game, dull, boring and I find crown green bowls more entertaining, each to there own, I hope England lift the cup, it's just not for me

I’m not sure we’ve ever claimed it’s comparable to men’s football at any level. It’s the pinnacle of elite women’s football. The players and teams are there on merit and will take the same pride in representing their countries as the men. Standard has improved exponentially over the last few years. It’s been a very entertaining tournament so far.

This Relying on VAR for offsides even when a player is clearly a couple of yards off is really annoying. Other than that the Eng Scotland game very watchable. With some good skill from both sides

Unlucky Scotland. Best team in the second half and but for VAR could have
    easily got a draw.

Hard to say how the game would have gone without the VAR pen but clear penalty for me. May well have been given without the VAR. Scotland played well enough to get a draw on another day but also England could have easily got a 3rd

There was a far worse VAR decision in the Brazil game where the balk did strike an arm but it was against the body not stuck straight out like the Scotland one.

I really enjoyed the England v Scotland game, very entertaining. It was also nice to see a game where there was no rolling about pretending to be injured and get the opposition player sent off.

    BBC womens coverage

    One female presenter

    3 female pundits

    One female co-commentator

Male football be it bbc match of the day or sky football has to have a token female commentator or pundit.

There was also a male co-commentator and there will be male studio guests. Dion Dublin did the opening game on Friday.

You can start complaining about that once women's football have done it every match for 80 years. Even then, it still wouldn't be the same as men would still get the chance to be football presenters, pundits and co-commentators every week during those 80 years. The first female commentator on a men's world cup match was Vicki Sparks, last year. LAST YEAR. There hasn't even been a World Cup since and men are already moaning about 'token female commentators'. It took us 80 years to have one and men are moaning about one match because there wasn't a man.

I've not watched motd much this season but pretty sure there are occasions when it's an all male punditry team. I'm also sure that there will be male pundits included at various points in this tournament.
