Let's face it if he gets nobbled we're in deep trouble.

I thought Stendel might take him off to protect him, but no. There he was, running down the clock, by the corner flag. Not sure that was sensible.

Sure forums are somewhere to post your opinions? If i thought for a second Woodrow got home on a night and decided to read BBS id probably think twice about posting.

My opinion is today Woodrow tried too hard and should have been more of a team player, at no point have I suggested hes ‘crap’ or hasent been a vluable asset this season because he sure has!

Agree with this. I thought he played well. Worked hard and was comfortable on the ball. Just once or twice a pass to someone better placed would have been good.

Was glad he didn't score today because we had the goals we needed and it will make him hungrier for goals on Tuesday/Friday.

Not his best game but overall been our best player since he came into the side in November. Coincidentally I thought Bahre had his 2nd decent game for us and he is excused of all sorts, Woodrow has an off game where he still makes an unreal assist and theres a thread criticising.

He got a few things wrong but he got a lot of things right and he works hard. He's what, 23? Still learning and thank God Millwall bought Bradshaw and we bought him. I don't think we'd have won today or last Saturday if that had not happened.

Agree on that. I used to like Bradshaw but he had definite limitations. Woodrow looks a much better goalscorer.

That's a great point, if we had just Bradshaw here as our only striker we would be bang in trouble.

His finishing today was off and im sure he will be first to say so. However i felt his workrate and link up play was as hood or better than recent weeks. We won and he was creator of our opener and game winning goal.

Teams will plan to play us thinking if they stop our only recognised goalscorer they stop Barnsley. We have shown that to be untrue but certaily he will be a key player the opposition will pay special attention to

I didn't see anything wrong with him yesterday, on another day he could have had 3 or 4.

He may have been asked to do more or different role with Moore being out, you don't know.. I think he's great player and one of our outstanding players ever week.... way, way too good for this league.
And we'd best get promoted this year.. one way or another, cos if we don't, he won't be playing in L1 next season..

I think Woodrow is a typical centre forward in that he’ll have quiet games. Difference being unlike some he still puts a shift in and effects the game in some way.

Great player, better than league one - didn’t have his best game yesterday but he’ll play worse and score two or three another day.
