    Trying to think of really poor centre halfs is tricky. I know some have mentioned Chettle and Shirtliff but were they really that bad? Maybe a lack of outright pace but not terrible.

    I remember seeing him play in the reserves and thinking "Mr Gran is better than this guy"
    If my memory serves me correctly he played a few games for Emley.
    No idea who he's married to?
    (Chas Dingle! well well lucky lad at least he did something right)
    Hopefully he's found a good line of work outside of football cos he wasnt a keeper in all this world. Didnt Toby Tyke score a penalty past him at half time once?

    He has found a good line of work, been married to chas dingle!! seen him a couple of times in celeb mags 'at home with...' section. P.S i'm female so don't be thinking why is a bloke reading celeb mags!

    So - tell me -what can you remember of him to assess him as 'worst ever player' and what did he/didn't do, to make him more worthy a candidate than the likes of Dave Regis?

    You sound like a right pr**k. everyone is entitled to their own opinion, if it differs to yours what gives you the right to demand and question why? Yes Dave Regis was a ***** player come to think of it, but when i read the thread i put the first two players names that came into my head and didn't give it much thought. obviously not taken it as seriously as you. when i've read other peoples threads after mine i've thought yes that's another bad player, but unlike you i have not felt the need to question them
    I was only stating a fact when i corrected you that he had played 4 1st team games not 2 as you stated, i was not been petty. (neer)

    Deon Burton was a lazy sulking prima dona.

    Thought he was too good for us.

    Don Goodman was ***** too though.

    As was Regis.

    And I hated Kevin Betsy. Light-weight. Not fair to put him this thread though.

    Tommy Wright was awful.
