Cardiff fans bouncing for the last 10 minutes knowing we had shot our bolt and they were going to win. If the boot had been on the other foot we would have been on tenterhooks with Cardiff throwing the kitchen sink at us. We went out with a whimper and not the first time there has been abject surrender in the last 10 minutes of games we could have got back into (Sheff U another recent example).

No idea. Definitely not at work, though. Honest.

That's true. The manner of the defeat was disheartening. I expected us to pepper their goal for the last fifteen minutes. We barely got into their half.

We know why we weren't peppering there goal.

Our main target man had one of those days , and the team visibly slowed down following the miss.

Don't think we look capable of peppering a goal. Our 'star' midfielders - JCR and Howard - want to try and win a game by themselves, but given our forwards that might not be such a bad idea. Our defenders can't pass, our full backs don't overlap and can't cross. Too many elements break down and prevent us maintaining consistent pressure over a prolonged period.

We have too many individuals when we should be playing as a team by now.

EDIT: I am more tired than I thought. Don't think I've ever had to edit as many posts 'cos of nonsensical structure and terrible spelling.

Its a shame Sousa looks so uncomfortable with the ball at his feet , yet he heads it quite well.

Hassell in midfield against a team letting us have a lot of ball is a no go for me as well.

The subs didn't work did they

Coulson came on but they didn't adapt their style of play to suit him. He doesn't want balls aimed at his head. It all got a bit scrappy.

I thought Hassel played quite well in midfield, especially considering he plays right back.. And I agree on Souza not looking comfortable, but i think he did some good defending at times along with fosters and bits from Kozluk

Think it's one of TFP's points: Davey's got it all mixed up somewhere. Everyone else would go looking for defenders from Eastern Europe and strikers from Brazil..
