    My opinion, Yes.

    The guy looked good last season, and alongside better defenders this season will shine even more.

    yep, he's definitely one of those what you would call "championship quality" although I have no idea who you would play along the back with him....i just hope these new guys turn out to be of a similar level of quality. Going on our previous fortune with foreign defenders, with the exception of de zeeuw, we'd have been better off without the likes of Krizan, Markstedt etc who signed with similar expectations.
