But getting back to the point Every new manager brings in a load of new players, its how it works, they want to start with their own team and fair do`s to them. But usually we then have a squad of about 45-50 players all on first team wages, cos we cant sack them when we sacked the manager. By bringing in the new player it shows the ones already here that the new manager is not going to tolerate any nonsense from them , it does not often work out quite as good as the manager would want it to, leaving the new players that have come in to take the flak for the new managers decisions. The new ones are not all better than what they replaced, but some will be, its the way of the Football world. Anyone who thinks that I am wrong , I refer you to the last 10 years at Oakwell. Sorry if anyone has gone to sleep reading this , I promise that I will revert back to posting drivel now.
The new manager replaces players because generally it is those players that got the previous manager the sack. If the new manager replaces those players with new players who are no better, those players will get the new manager the sack. By November we will know if Davey is the new Wilson or the new Spackman.
