Got CBeebies on for the big hitter, now is it me or is it sort of wrong to have a children's tv presenter with only 1 arm??
Good grief. There are posts to get a reaction then there are just plain fooking silly posts, yours is in the latter category. What a t1t.
If you're trying to provoke a reaction then you win. But if you're being serious - assuming you have kids - what an example you set to them. My right arm is held together by wires and my right leg, in particular the knee, is completely knackered after a car accident, my mobility is greatly restricted and I am a blue badge holder. Are there any jobs that I'm not allowed to have in your humble? Just so as I don't offend. Tw@t I believe in fairies, the Easter bunny, and Keith Hill.
What would be wrong would be for them to not be given the job because they only had 1 arm. Why shouldn't children be exposed to people who are "different" to the norm? If you are uncomfortable explaining to your child about it then thats your problem.
But surely thats because you are stick in the dark ages and have loads of prejudices - I have seen the presenter you mean and obviously noticed she only had one arm - but it doesnt affect her ability to do the job, in fact she is quite good, and its probably good for childern to see someone like that at an early age so they dont grow up with the prejudices you have. The young childern Cbeebies is actually aimed at wont give it a second thought
