Its no good being negative at this late stage of the season
The writing was on the wall last July
    Where were you then ???
Ohh I remember - the majority on here were berating me for being negative
    How things change :) :) :)

I'm happier now than I was last July
At least if we stop up or even if we go down the problems will eventually be solved
With Ritchie - Wright, Richards, Williams et al would all be regular and Ritchie would still be saying "I think my lads are good enough for this division"

I didn't want Davey but I think we have a manager that eventually will come good

    No Chance YN

I did agree with you that we were short in the summer but I dont want Davey and he wouldnt come good if a super model grabbed his nuts.

    Only my opinion like

Cannot believe comments on here right now

Do these people actually watch football
What have they got for (lookout)
    Fooking pis-oils
I'll repeat what i said at the begining of the season - the players we had last year were poor and we were lucky to get promotion
Once you start losing games that we could have easily won (no matter how attractive the football was) as we were doing under Ritchie it is very difficult to break that cycle and turn things round.
Davey was on to a loser from the start
Davey has dropped some clangers in my opinion regarding tactics but so far the lads have worked hard for him, the effort is there so you can't fault him

Lads hage worked for him??? Have to disagree on that one. I can probably count of one hand the amount of games the whole team have looked like battling for him.

    Sooner he goes, the better.

"The effort is there" - tell me you are on a wind up.

I just think you like to be contrary

    Effort was there against Derby

There was plenty of running on and off the ball against Derby
Especially when you compare it to some of the past efforts under managers like Hodges and Hart
Some people soon forget what lack of effort looks like - I DON'T
    But
We never looked like scoring (although we did in the end).
    And
We always looked like we would concede

I think our problem at the moment is that the defence is so weak that it is undermining the confidence of the whole team

And NO...............it aint a wind up (NOOO) (NOOO) (NOOO)

Maybe there was plenty of running about - I'd like to see that coupled with effort in passing the ball

Dont particularly think there is a lack of effort just a lack of ability and the players knowing they arent good enough so there is no confidence in anything they do. Every week we watch the oppo players controlling the ball with their first touch and passing the ball crisply. Barnsley players end up with the ball bouncing off them and bobbling around rather than 'killing' it, which means their second touch is under pressure or often possession is given away. Not many in our side who can control a ball every time they get it, which is just not good enough for this level.
