Best away performance I've seen from the Reds in a long, long time. The only thing missing was a richly deserved goal or two. Defence was solid with Darren Moore absolutely immense. Hulse never got the better of him either in the air or on the ground. Such was Moore's dominance that Hulse showed his petulantant frustration (Bladesesque) at the final whistle by having a real verbal go at Big Daz after the final whistle. I wouldn't fancy yer chances Rob old boy!!
Our midfield was awesome. Campbell-Ryce was livelier than in recent games and the trio of Andranik, Anderson and Colace were truly magnificent. Colace in particular was superb throughout making the supposedly on form Savage look like a pub player. It sure is frustrating though being a Barnsley fan. Nothing ever seems to run in our favour in the opposing penalty area but how Mifsud and particularly Macken contrived to miss giltedged chances I'll never know. The difference between top and bottom in this league is the quality of the strikers. If the likes of Ebanks-Blake had been playing for us yesterday we would have won comfortably. A must for next season is a powerful, pacy forward who can make the difference where it matters. We were crying out for one yesterday.
I feel a lot more confident about our survival hopes after yesterday but the nagging doubt is just that we have a history of making life hard for ourselves. Nottm Forest at home is another "Leicester" of the last two seasons, you just know that we are likely to blow it!
Three wins and a draw should do it for us now I reckon.
Come on you Reds, you can do it...!!??

We played very well, but we would have got more of a game if they hadn't had eight first team players missing.

You cannot say anything about other teams having players missing

That only happens at Oakwell. we are the only team that has injuries and suspensions, thought everyone knew t.hat

LOL that's very true. They had their engine missing with Kris Commons and Paul Green. Then there's Chris Porter and five others.

    3 wins and a draw?

I'll be surprised if 2 wins and a draw isn't enough, the teams below us only have 6/7 games to play and would need 8-10 points just to get to 50-51.
