What a strange person you are when you would prefer to believe something written down by somebody who you do t even k ow rather than believe your own eyes.

It's not strange to believe a football website which specialises in football stats. Plus you included a shot from hammill that rebounded and mcburnie tapped i don't think that would of been a official assist

I do not know how many assists Adam has had but I do know if we had eleven players playing with his attitude we would still be in the championship . I am also sure he took the corner which Mcburnie nodded in against Brentford last week , surely thats one assist without even thinking

Wish Yiadom all the best. He is one of the few players that were prepared for the Championship this season.
I would never have made him captain, primarily as he had refused to sign a new contract. As senior pro I'd have given it to Hammill.
He looked to be at fault for a couple of goals yesterday, certainly the first. He will sign for one of the larger championship clubs.
I'd be surprised if he went higher than that, but hard to gauge, given the overall lack of quality around him in the last 14 months.

I think you mean Moore's goal v Bolton. I like hammill and hope he stays for next season. But st tells me how poor yiadom has been for months and how people think he is good due to past performances but then blows smoke up hammill who has showed alot of passion but done little on the football pitch in the past 2 seasons because the championship is a totally diffrent level to league one.

No I meant the second goal against Brentford which just crossed the line , Hammill corner , McBurnie header , given by goal line technology

The stats sites have the corner down as his 1 assist.

the stat site missed hammill's assist away at preston, but I don't know why people are arguing over an assist here n there? assists are a load of ***** anyway, you can get an assist for passing messi the ball then he beats 3 players and hurls it in top corner from 30 yards

You can't count a shot which the keeper spills and drops to mcburnies feet as one which you were last week.

My view for what its worth is that yids has been consistantly one of our best performers for 2 seasons....this season not as good as last but still a very accomplished player at champ level....constantly got out of horrible positions when tied in tight positions (at left back) by playing out with football!
Think i have stated on here...... that very occasionally i attend some games with scouts...and guess who they all wanna discuss!!!
No brainer ...class act....with better players....would look even more accomplished. Good luck to him and thanks.

My original post was mainly in anger at his defending for their first, l watched him from the moment the corner went tits up he just seemed to let their player run by him without any thought of picking the run up, all too easy. I do like yids he's been a quality player for us but sometimes his defending lets him down.

Twice yesterday we went from attacking positions and conceded one goal and then fortunately they had the other ruled out for offside. They got far too much joy down either wing yesterday and honestly think McBurnie must have been carrying some kind of niggling injury as he wasn’t his usual self and barely tracked back.

McBurnie looked lethargic and so did Mahoney neither tracked back with any enthusiasm and Mahoney couldn`t even be arsed to run for a good through ball in second haif, hope to god Mahoney goes back never to return.
