Absolutely astonishing report in tomorrow's Sunday Times about how Zahawi's tax affairs unravelled. It's paywall, so can't be cutting and pasting, as I'm a law-abiding citizen! But this will be picked up by the rest of the media pretty swiftly. Zahawi is finished, so far as I can see. And there are big, big questions for Sunak to answer following his replies at PMQ's last Wednesday.

I had begun to think in the middle of last year that there were admirable aspects of Zahawi's life story, particularly after his oversight of the vaccines rollout. Grandfathertyke swiftly disabused me of that notion, and how right he was!

He should be taking up Boris Becker's cell in the morning. There are no honest Tories anymore. I've always hated them, but some used to be decent people. Look at the whole front bench. Oh my Lord, and that is with Johnson gone.

I worry that Johnson might be the beneficiary of this little fallout.

Johnson is making good money on the after dinner circuit.

The real "big beasts" that fund the Tory party want to distance it from Johnson, Truss & the Brexit disaster. I really hope that the electorate start to wake up & kick these ******** out of office for ever.

Problem is the amount of thickos in Barnsley and other former industrial towns who will lap up the immigration propaganda near election time and vote them in again. I'm seriously concerned this will happen.

I dispaire that people vote for these in the belief that they will actually represent them.

I heard a good one from a disgruntled Working Class Tory yesterday. Disgruntled at the 'attacks' on them. "It's the first Government in my lifetime that's ever given me money to pay my power bills". It'll never be beaten though. The winner for me was the two baboons in Hartlepool after the last election, when asked What have the Tories done for you? they replied, "Given us food banks. We never had free food under Labour."

Thought that food bank quote had to be sarcasm mate.
But obviously not. My mind couldn't be more boggled ffs.

Fred from Hartlepool on LBC today, praising the Tories because.... Wait for it.... They have 9 food banks now, and Labour didn't give them any.
    F--k my actual life.

Let's not forget this is the guy who's wife pulled off a massive land deal to benefit from Brexit - but of course she didn't benefit from insider information from her husband _ really she didn't !

By 2050 most people in the UK were living in holes in the ground covered by tarpaulin.
But as one Tory voter said. “ Aye but under Labour we wouldn’t have that tarpaulin.”
