19 goals in League 2 this season from central midfield!

Let's not forget he was played out of position at Oakwell. If he wasn't here before everyone would be screaming to bring him in.

Don't be ridiculous, he wasn't. Good enough in the division belowwe did well to move him on

I'd have him back if we were in L1. I thought he had something about him when he was with us. A lack of pace might hold him back at Championship level so it would be a bit of a gamble.

Clearly played as a RM for the majority of his time here.

Always thought he was harshly thought of. I remember him having a lot about him, but played sporadically and often in the wrong position.

I really liked him when he was here and was surprised by other people's opinions of him.

As a central midfield player that is the main reason he never realised his potential here.

I doubt he would want to come back anyway.

Didn't work out for him and Cambridge is obviously a good fit for him.

I have a friend who's a Cambridge fan, and he's part of the furniture there.

I really rated him in league one and i don't think we ever saw the best him but I'm not sure he'd be able to cut it in the championship.

I have no issue with him but IIRC he begged to go back to Cambridge? One of a rare breed who knows where he is comfortable and fits best.

    Sold because he 'lacked pace'.

I asked at the start of the season if come the summer Berry was topping our spreadsheet would we be back in for him. The answer was no.

I'm sure he'll be on that list we have but no thanks. Did well in League 1 at times with us but he isn't better than that.

Hope he gets a move that 'ups' his career as I really liked that lad (and his bird) but not for us. Wouldn't be surprised Peterborough coming in for him.

So there's no pace column on the spreadsheet?

Because Alex Mowatt has blistering speed.

I thought he was just decent, an average league one player at the time who may have improved due to his age. Surprised to see any strong opinions on him either way
