It's an opinions game I suppose. I thought he was a terrific central midfielder. Good engine, good height, could pass, run, tackle and shoot. Big part of our success in L1.
It depends whether you believe the picture of conte that hemsworth tyke paints or the one which the actual evidence paints
Ah the sum total of work done in pre-season by Hecky was to arrange the pre-season kickabouts and it turns out Lee Johnson and Ben Mansford had already done that work for him. You know what! You're right! I've changed my mind. Hecky doesn't deserve to go on holiday with his wife and kids. (**** I've replied again...)
Here he is on a mid season scouting break looking over a couple of big uns up front And here he is looking for a new super sub
Even if true, That's. Not. Necessarily. A. Good. Thing. Family is much more important than any job or any sport.
I hope you don't class this as name calling, but I think you're a bit bonkers. Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
Like you are fully well aware. That's in Spetember when the Internation games are on. Barnsley also had time off then. When I went to watch the u23's I think I was told they had 5 days off
Did you like it when he went nine without a win then lost nine on the bounce? Johnno lost nine in a row with two different clubs. In the space of a year. How is that even possible?
What really ***** me off is that Conte spent £32m on Kante. Did Hecky even make a bid? In fact did he even make an enquiry?
Couldn't agree more fizzytyke. Conte probably does as well. He is being courted by Inter Milan. His wife and daughter still live in Italy that's why he spends 9/10 hours at the Chelsea training ground at present ( Fergie used to put in a 13 hour day regularly by the way). The time he is able to spend with his wife and kid is therefore very rare and precious and IF he is still at Stamford Bridge next season he has said his family will come to live with him somewhere in London.
So going on holiday in September instead of preparing for the next game just a few days later is preferential to going on holiday as soon as the season ends with months before a ball is kicked?
All about opinions. I really liked Brownhill and would love him back. I'd take Isgrove as well if we were getting the band back together - although absolutely accept that his lack of goals or assists would need to substantially improve. As a free transfer (provided wages weren't as daft as the ones Southampton were paying him) might be worth a shot. Even as an option off the bench.
The summers the most important time. You are nothing without good recruitment. The players aren't there. He's got a team full of Internationals. If you want to talk about his preparation then go and read this. In it I presume from a former player it says you feeling going into the match like you've already played the match because you know so much about the other team. https://www.theguardian.com/football/blog/2017/apr/15/antonio-conte-chelsea-managerial-maestro
I'll tell hecky to piss off on holiday in September then and see how much bitching you do about it When did Conte go to a match on valentine's day?
Was that supposed to be a reply to me about valentine's day? If so could you try to explain it please?
Confirms what I said. He flew to Turin to see their lass and whilst there went to watch Juventus. That's not obsessive. Managers spend a lot of time watching other teams to see if there's anybody worth signing. Steve McClaren who is tipped to take over at Middlesbrough was in the crowd at the Huddersfield v Wendies game today. Just finished reading Fergies " My autobiography". In it he admits getting up at 2am to watch a video of the next team they were going to face on the up coming Saturday. It's what managers do. It's the price his missus had to pay for living in a mansion in leafy Cheshire. The book is supposed to be in his own words. I don't think it can be because he doesn't once refer to Wiverpool, Weeds or Wester.!!!
