    Says in chron they are voting on this tomorrow, fans and players. Shaw Lane wanted to take them over but that got knocked back

    The Hyman wasn't up to standard for the Midlands league when AFC Barnsley played there and the condition of it has only got worse since then. It's the size of the pitch that I think is the main issue. The Hyman pitch is tiny.

    Like a ploughed field, daughter played on there for Barnsley Ladies it's a terrible pitch

    I helped out on the ground staff from time to time when I worked in the bar there; the problem is that it's used all year round. Football August to May, then athletics field events June to August. Last time I went in it, the stand didn't have great facilities, most of the seats were broken and as I say, the pitch isn't the biggest.
