Which former BFC player has scored the most goals since leaving BFC ? Which former BFC player has made the most premier league appearances since leaving BFC ? (Permanent players only so exclude loanees unless they went on to sign for us on a permanent deal).. PS...I'm not sure of the answer myself, just wondered if anyone knew the answer to these 2 questions..
146 appearances for De Zeeuw.... My initial thinking is that it may be John Beresford.. 154 appearances..
Yeah you could be correct with David Hirst for the goal tally (115). Still not thought of anyone with more prem appearances than Beresford though.
Depends how far back you go and what you include. For example, Tommy Taylor scored 128 after leaving BFC but 16 were for England. George Robledo got 166 but 84 were for Colo Colo in Chile!
I'd say no based on the fact he was only on youth terms.. Good shout though. goals galore... Hopefully zero next season though lol.
Liddell scored over 100 after leaving (he was Wigan's all-time top scorer at one time. Jon Parkin has 160+ although I'm not sure how many are non-league. David Speedie got 148 after leaving.
I wouldn't have even thought about Jon Parkin... But like has been said non league level.. So could be Speedie then?
I'd say in terms of modern day and bona fide top four division goals its Speedie. He'd be the leader for me but if we're allowing trainees and non-league goals, I'll take your Jordan Rhodes and Jon Parkin and raise you to a Luke Beckett
Gerry Taggart? Bolton and Leicester and did he briefly play at Stoke?. Again just a guess and not used any search engine
