Matty Pearson

I would say last season that Pearson played at least 80% of his games at full back and more of them at left back than right back. He is better at full back in my opinion and writing him off as a full back after 2 games is ridiculous.

 

Accrington fan just got back to me. Says he's no left foot and his best position is right back, and I quote "bombing on".

I think time will tell what his best position is in a championship team.

 

No one has written him off. Just said that he looks more suited to the centre back role.

 

I've seen Pearson & Potts in the last 2 games & I think both are talented enough to play at this level but nowhere near fit enough.

Both knackered after half hour, I get Pearson staying on because we're short at full back but Potts shouldn't have lasted the full game

 

Pearson and Macdonald looked to be having a few disagreements during the second half. Hope they sort theselves out for tomorrow.
