https://www.safc.com/news/opinion/2017/august/matchday-uncovered-barnsley Basically shows over the 90 mins how effective we were as a defensive unit, esp the back 4 in restricting Sunderland's creativity - telling that Davies mainly had to deal with long range efforts. Sometimes it's handy to see yourself as others see you - helps with the objectivity and that.
Shows how well Potts and Moncur have done and how we may not notice or underestimated their overall work rate and output.
Bigger club beaten fans always comment how bad they must be to be beaten by a team like barnsley, is that the expectation of money spent and size of following ? 11 v 11 humans anything possible....
You've obviously not followed the link. It's a breakdown of touches/passes/possession explaining how Sunderland were unable to have an impact due to a preponderance of square balls. There's only positive comments aimed at Barnsley, suggesting Potts and Moncur were clinical in possession and positive in attitude.
Yeah i probably needed a new thread,, i did see the link and agree in its positivity. But my point is that most teams visiting Barnsley expect to go away with 3 points which to me is absurd.
IIRC its been very common over the past 2 seasons to see BFC have less of the possession but do far more with it.
