Best wishes to him but I think that's his level. The experience will do him good.

Given a fair chance I think he would have banged them in for us.

Tells you the difference between league 1 and the championship.

Guy never looked like scoring whilst he was here.

He didn't get much of a chance with us but saying that we don't see the players everyday in training like Hecky does.

He played 236 minutes for Barnsley.

Not sure we'll know how well he would have done in the championship.

Anyways, Hecky thought it best he move on, he's started brilliantly for Shrewsbury as he gets up to full match fitness.

    Good luck to the lad.

To be fair he was never given a run of starts, a few sub apps got a nasty injury recovered and then mostly sub appearances in the league. Could be that the gap between confrance and championship was too big to bridge for him. I won't write him off though because if he keeps scoring in league one some other club will take a punt.

Sessi also started tonight for Blackpool against Wigan. Saw a tweet saying: D'Almeida, having already been booked, is given a stern warning by the referee for another foul. Seems to sum him up!

Best for all parties for Payne now. Wonder if we've got buy-back clauses on any of the fringe players we've sold. Doubt it, but possible

He's one of those players that's just likeable. Come from humble roots and testing himself at a higher level. Given a good run of games I reckon he'd have done well. I maintain that he could have taken the same route as Omar Bogle had he progressed from non league into league 2 or league 1 rather than straight onto our bench in championship.

Pity for him that we got promoted. Good luck Stefan.

Really? Always tried and I have nothing against him but he was nowhere near good enough. Lower L1/L2 player at best.

I didn't realise that he got so little game time. That's less than 3 full games. Certainly nowhere near enough for him to be properly judged.

I have no issue with us letting him leave, at the age he's at, he needs to be playing regular games and I feel he was never going to get the opportunity here. I do hope he kicks on though as he seemed like a genuinely nice bloke in the few videos and interviews he was pictured in.

What about on the training pitch though? Presumably, Hecky had seen enough there to suggest he's not going to cut it at Championship level now?

Hope he does well for them though.
